        For the telecommunications DC-power inside-plant installation professional seeking the ideal company to associate with, our client might be the ideal one for you! Our client's owners have thirty years of experience with central office, head-end and cell-site inside plant including DC power.
        Their clients include numerous telephone, cellular and CATV carriers throughout the western states. To handle a steady flow of new installation contracts in California and other western states, they are seeking DC Power Plant lead technicians for Northern and Southern California.
    
Job Description
Under the supervision of the regional operations manager, candidates will act as lead DC-power plant installation technician.
  • Candidate to assist in the recruiting, training and development of subordinate technicians
  • Plan, organize, direct, motivate and help coordinate the work activities of DC-power technicians.
  • Pro-active in keeping projects on schedule and under-budget.
  • Maintain quality control and safety goals,
  • Perform projects to the highest quality of customer and industry standards,
  • Provide technical support at customer sales presentations in addition to performing site surveys and other pre-sales tasks, 
  • Maintain currency with new DC-power technology and industry trends,
  • Recommend and/or implement DC-power problem-resolution
  • Must be willing to travel to in-state and occasional out-of-state assignments
 
Requisite Experience:
  • Minimum of four years of related experience in Central Office inside-plant installations.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience in DC Power Plant installations including 2, 6, 12, 24 and -48VDC UPS battery strings, rectifiers, battery chargers, control & breaker panels and DC-power cable-run installations.
  • Minimum of two years as Level-4 Lead technician that might include lead or supervision of one or more installation crews.
  • Possess common telecom manufacturer equipment certifications. 
Remuneration:
A negotiable W-2 perm competitive wage/salary of up to $40 hourly or $83,200 annually plus employee and family benefits.
